This Privacy Policy explains what AppskKuber (“we”) collects when you use Geetly: the Android app com.appskuber.geetly (the “App”), the song pages it publishes at https://geetly-app.web.app (“Pages”) and our websites. It covers why we collect it, who can see it, how long we keep it and how you can delete it.

Two kinds of people use Geetly: members, who sign in to the App and make songs, and listeners, who open a Page from a link and have no account.

In short. There are no ads, we never collect the Advertising ID and we never sell personal data. To make a song, the words you type (your description, your own lyrics, the name of the person the song is for and the memories you add, and any photos you attach) go to Google’s AI models (Gemini and Lyria, through the Gemini API, paid tier), which do not use them to train their models. The song, its cover and its lyrics are kept in your account until you delete them. A Page shows what you put on it (the song, its title, lyrics, and for a gift page the recipient’s name, your message and a photo) to anyone who has its link. Google Play takes every payment; we never see your card, UPI or bank details. You can delete everything from inside the App: Profile → Delete account.

1. Who we are

Geetly is made by AppskKuber, an independent developer based in India. AppskKuber decides how your personal data is used and is responsible for it (the “Data Fiduciary” under India’s DPDP Act and the “controller” under the GDPR). Our contact details are in Section 12.

We do not collect your contacts, your location, your microphone, your other files or the Advertising ID.

3. What goes to the AI models

Every song is made by AI. When you ask for a song, our server sends the following to Google’s generative AI models through the Gemini API (Google LLC, paid tier):

Under the Gemini API’s paid terms Google does not use these prompts or the output to improve its models, and does not claim ownership of the output. Google applies its own safety filters (for example it refuses requests for a real singer’s voice) and marks every song with an inaudible watermark (SynthID) that identifies it as AI-generated. We do not sell or share your prompts with anyone else.

The models can make mistakes: a song may contain words or sounds that are not what you asked for. Every song page and share page has a Report button.

4. Other services we use

Google Play Billing (Google LLC)Payments in the AppHandled by Google; we receive a purchase token and an order id, never payment details

Our websites set no cookies and load no third-party scripts. The admin site we use to run Geetly is private.

5. Who can see your data

We never sell personal data and never share it for advertising.

6. How we protect it

Everything travels over HTTPS. Only the signed-in owner can read their account and songs (enforced by Firebase security rules); songs and covers are served by unguessable links; payments are verified on our servers with Google Play before anything is delivered; the AI models are called only from our servers, never from the App. No system is perfect: if a breach affected you, we would tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

7. How long we keep it, and deleting it

To delete your account: open the App, Profile → Delete account. If you cannot open the App, see Delete Your Account.

8. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, give you a copy, or stop processing it, and you can withdraw consent where processing rests on it. Residents of India (DPDP Act), the EEA and the UK (GDPR and UK GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA) and other places have these rights in law; we offer them to everyone. Write to support@geetly.com with the subject Privacy Rights Request; we answer within 30 days and may ask you to confirm the request from the email you sign in with. You may also complain to your data protection authority. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

Our legal bases under the GDPR: performing our contract with you (Sections 2 and 3); our legitimate interests in keeping the service safe, counting plays and fixing crashes; consent for notifications and for photos you attach; legal obligations for purchase records.

9. Age

Geetly is for people 18 years and older. The AI services we build on do not allow applications directed at anyone younger, so the App asks for your date of birth once and refuses accounts under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Where your data is stored

Our servers run on Google Cloud in the United States (region us-central1); the AI models run on Google’s global infrastructure. For transfers out of the EEA and the UK, Google’s standard contractual clauses and data processing terms apply.

11. Changes to this Policy

When this Policy changes in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and tell you in the App before the change applies. Earlier versions are available on request.
